Part 2 of my trip to Black Rocks. Actually got the chance to test the Sumo on some rocks. It did very well with plenty of grip from those stock tyres. The setup is perfect for me so all I need to do is finish the interior.
Also had time to get the SCX10 out as well. Just had a little mess around the steep shale hill. Off camera I did send it down the hill and it took a pretty hard tumble. No breakages which surprised me and I was happy with its performance with thicker shock oil and a stiffer spring setup. All I need to do is dial the electronics. The brake is far to harsh and causing it to tip over.
Both trucks are where I want them to be, so I couldn't be happier. Hope you enjoyed the videos from this trip. No doubt I'll be returning soon.
