Super Mario Maker Title Theme on Mario Paint @NintendoAmerica

Here is the main title theme song from the Wii U game Super Mario Maker. It was arranged in the Super NES 1992 video game, Mario Paint.

A lot of gamers may not know this, but Super Mario Maker makes an incredible amount of references to the Mario Paint game, borrowing assets from it such as icons, music and mini-games. One of the features I was deeply hoping for in this game was an updated music editor, though it doesn’t seem to be a reality. I’m hoping one day, Nintendo decides to either release a DLC/update to include it as part of Super Mario Maker or as a separate game entirely. Either way, I am pleased to see that the spirit of Mario Paint is still in sight for Nintendo.
