I Hiked the King's Hunting Trail in Bosnia 🇧🇦

Čvrsnica is a stunning mountain in the heart of the Dinaric Alps in Bosnia and Herzegovina, rising over 2,200 meters above sea level. Known for its dramatic cliffs, deep canyons, and rich biodiversity, it's part of the Blidinje Nature Park. One of the most scenic and historic trails on the mountain is the Žlijeb Trail, also called the King’s Hunting Trail, once used by King Karadjordjević for royal hunts.

This hike starts from the Diva Grabovica valley and winds through ancient forests, past mountain springs, and up to jaw-dropping viewpoints overlooking Veliki Kuk, the highest vertical cliff face in the Balkans. It’s a mix of natural beauty, solitude, and hidden history—perfect for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
