Last year was an incredible year for me; My and my partner got married in September.
It was a beautiful day and I wanted to make it more special by using natural colours.
I decided to naturally dye the ribbon that holds my bouquet with avocado skins, this ribbon is 100% natural silk.

00:25 preparation of the fabric: wet the fabric in water for 30 minutes then mordant with potassium alum.
03:10 extraction of the colour: simmer the avocado skin
04:25 Change of the ph of the dye to get a richer pink
05:05 dye: in the ribbon silk to the avocado water
