Day 4 of our Egypt liveaboard adventure took us further north to two truly special locations: Satayah Reef and Sha’ab Claudio. This day turned into one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip as we were lucky enough to swim with a pod of around 40 dolphins, including calves—a powerful and emotional experience that is impossible to forget.
At Satayah, we explored a stunning coral garden filled with diverse coral formations and abundant marine life. The reef was alive with small fish, numerous blue-spotted rays, eels weaving through the coral, and even a rare black feather star, adding to the richness of the dive.
Later in the day, we headed to Sha’ab Claudio, famous for its unique underwater landscape. Here we dived through a beautiful coral garden and explored its iconic open-roof tunnel systems, where light streamed in from above, creating dramatic and photogenic underwater scenes.
