Hey y'all. Welcome to my channel. I'm Joyia and in 2021, I had an open myomectomy to deliver a number of fibroids, including one bigger than some newborn babies. When I was first diagnosed, I came to the Internet to get some insight and there were not many personal stories available. I'm creating this channel to help the next woman in her diagnosis, treatment options and overall sanity. Since surgery, I've been blessed to conceive, carry and deliver a beautiful baby boy and during a routine ultrasound, I found out my fibroids had returned. So, I'm on my second fibroid journey and I'm taking you on this ride with me. I hope this channel provides inspiration, motivation and encouragement in your and/or your loved one's journey.
