In a quiet, forgotten village surrounded by dusty fields lived a boy named Hamza.
From the moment he opened his eyes to the world, life tested him in ways most people never experience.
Hamza lost his parents when he was very young.
He grew up in a small broken house with cracked walls, a leaking roof, and silence that felt heavier than stones.
He had no relatives,
no guardian,
no friend to lean on…
and often no food to eat.
But the one thing he did have
was a heart that refused to give up.
Every morning, Hamza woke up before sunrise.
He would walk miles barefoot to fetch water from a well.
Then he would do small chores for different people in the village—
cleaning courtyards, carrying wood, helping shopkeepers—
just to earn a few coins to survive.
Many children of his age went to school with books in their bags.
Hamza watched them from a distance,
wishing he could join them.
One day, he gathered the courage to ask the school teacher:
“Sir… can I study here? I don’t have money, but I want to learn.”
The teacher looked at his torn clothes,
his tired eyes,
and nodded.
From that day on, Hamza worked in the mornings and studied in the evenings.
He was always hungry, always tired…
but never hopeless.
Despite all his struggles, many villagers mocked him.
“Hamza, you’re alone. What future will you ever make?”
“You don’t even have proper clothes, forget about dreams.”
Every word was a knife.
But Hamza turned each insult into fuel.
At night, under a dim lantern,
he would read books he borrowed from the school.
Sometimes rain dripped through the broken roof onto his notebooks,
but he kept writing anyway.
He often whispered to himself:
“I have no one… so I must become everything for myself.”
Years passed.
Hamza finished school with excellent marks.
But there were no opportunities in the village.
So one morning, with nothing but a small bag,
a few coins,
and a heart full of courage,
he left for the city.
The city was loud, fast, and unforgiving.
Hamza struggled to find work.
Some days he slept on footpaths,
some days he drank only water to survive.
But he never returned to the village—
because he promised himself he would only go back
when he had achieved something.
Hamza took small jobs:
Sweeping shops
Carrying bricks at construction sites
Working in a small restaurant
Delivering packages
Nothing was beneath him.
Every job taught him something.
In the evenings, he enrolled in short courses:
computers, business basics, communication skills.
He learned, practiced, failed, improved…
slowly building a version of himself
stronger than anything life had thrown his way.
After years of saving every rupee he could,
Hamza finally gathered enough money
to start a tiny stall selling phone accessories.
People laughed at him again:
“Big dreams? From a stall?”
But Hamza stayed silent.
He let his work speak.
Hamza treated every customer with respect.
He worked long hours,
never stopped learning,
and reinvested every bit of profit.
Within two years,
his small stall grew into a shop.
Then into three shops.
Then into a small company importing electronics.
The boy who once slept hungry
was now employing dozens of people.
Journalists asked him,
“How did you succeed with no family, no support, no guidance?”
Hamza smiled and answered:
“When you have no one,
you learn to fight without excuses.
You become your own strength.”
After many years,
Hamza returned to the village—
not as a poor boy,
but as a successful businessman.
The same villagers who once mocked him
now welcomed him with respect.
He built a school there,
so no child would be denied education like he once was.
He built a clean water system,
so no child would walk miles like he did.
Tears rolled down his eyes as he stood before the house where he grew up.
The broken walls still whispered memories of loneliness.
But Hamza smiled and said softly:
“I grew up here with nothing.
But this place gave me the strength
to become everything I am today.”
Hamza’s life teaches only one truth:
“You don’t need a big family,
you don’t need support,
you don’t need perfect conditions.
You just need courage, consistency, and belief.
When the world leaves you alone…
that’s when destiny begins to shape you.”
