Toyota IST (2002-2007) 1st generation | Car Review

The Toyota IST is recognized worldwide for being the perfect urban vehicle. Its short wheelbase and fuel-efficient engine make it easy to drive in crowded places. Its high roofline and hatchback make it versatile, too. No parking spot is too small for the Toyota IST. This 5-door hatchback may be slightly similar to its close sibling the Toyota Vitz, but offers a back door that is bigger in diameter and with design elements that are reminiscent of a compact SUV.

The IST also acquired the certification for "50% reduction level of 2005 exhaust emissions standards" from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism which was reduced by 50% starting from the new 2005 regulations.
