Wat Traimit is an ancient buddhist temple. The temple is famous because inside the temple there is a very large golden buddha which is made of solid gold, weighs around 5500 kilogram and is around 3 meter high. It is the biggest golden buddha that is made from real gold. This is why Wat Traimit is also known as the temple of the golden buddha.
