On August 1st, 2025, the Bix Museum got to make a unique experience happen at the 2025 Bix Fest, and we wanted to share with you a piece of that experience! Presenting New York musician Mike Davis getting to play Miff Mole's trombone during a live performance. The trombone is a new addition to the Bix Museum collection, and we wanted to thank Mike for helping us get the instrument by letting him play it. In honor of the special occasion, the Josh Duffee Greystone Monarchs played a special Miff Mole-centric set, so Mike was able to play Miff's own parts using the instrument he would have been playing during that time.
We want to specially thank the following donors for helping make this happen:
Nick Ball
Mike Davis
Josh Duffee
Harry Evans
Charlie Halloran
David Horniblow
Randy Sandke
