"I Care: Suicide, Anxiety, and Depression Awareness" with Roy Petitfils from Wednesday, April 25th at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Roy Petitfils is an internationally recognized expert in understanding teens and young adults. He is a therapist at Pax Renewal Center in Lafayette, LA, and he holds a Master’s in Mental Health & School Counseling from the University of Louisiana. Roy recently did a Ted talk on his book What Teenagers Want You To Know (But Won’t Tell You) and has also done many Facebook live sessions, responding to the hit Netflix series “13 Reasons Why," which has also been viewed and shared by over 15,000 people. Roy provides solutions for parents, educators, and students facing issues such as life changes, depression, suicide, anxiety, eating disorders, self harm, and more.
