Upgrading My Art Supplies: New Inks, New Pen Brush, and Some Surprises!

In today’s video, I’ll take you through my recent ink haul and some surprises (not all good!) with the new tools I picked up.

After struggling with my old pen brush, I finally upgraded to a finer-tipped one that’s taken my precision to a new level. To shake things up, I also grabbed a red ink, although it turns out it’s not exactly red – more like a shocking pink, but hey, it’s all part of the journey, right?

I’ll be testing everything: a new black ink with an unexpected twist (goodbye to the little spider icon, hello dragon!), my trusty 0.05 fineliner, and of course, the Japanese pen brush with its unique setup that I was definitely prepared for this time. From the first line to testing the pink ink on my handmade stamps, there were some surprises, but in the end, it’s all part of making art.
