Star Trek Discovery Pilot Review - Prime Directive

Our Review of The Star Trek Discovery Pilot. Lots of comparisons to be made to past Trek and other scifi. I see a lot of Battlestar Galactica and some serious flaws in Logic in the Pilot. But it was entertaining and hard to judge a Series based on a prologue.
We rank Discovery's Pilot against STO, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT.

Enjoyed Doug Jones. Sam Vartholomeos was good in a limited role. Is IMDB right will people who appear to have died be back for more episodes? It's SciFi anything could happen.
Michelle Yeoh stood out to me, thought she was really good and want to see more of her in this series. Solid Captain of the Star Ship Shenzhou.
I like Sonequa Martain Green but not her decision making.
And Damn it where was my Jason Isaacs! Can't wait.
Klingons seem stuck in their make up with limited movement, hopefully it's less restricting going forward.
Looks like Desperate Hours Novel by David Mack confirms the "Robot" is just a girl who's a fan of Daft Punk
