Reed vs Rotary - What would YOU choose?

It has long been a debate among karting veterans - What is better Reed or Rotary engines, but what are the differences between these two types of engine, in this video we show what the mechanical differences are, how they can be adjusted and what is inside them.

This is the type of engine that is used in Pre 95 Retro/F100/100cc karting that uses engines from the 1990's, these are high performance 2 stroke engines that rev up to and sometimes over 20,000 RPM lap after lap to get maximum performance on track.
