Anya Miller's capstone project explored the theme of "belonging" through a biblical, a theological, and a practical lens. Her work began with a biblical theology titled "Outcast: A Biblical Theology of the Socially Rejected," tracing the stories of those excluded in Scripture, from Adam and Eve to Hagar, Joseph, Jesus, and more. Anya then addressed how this relates to community and church life in a second paper, "No Longer Outcasts: What Does It Mean to Belong to Christ’s Church?" Finally, she developed a discipleship curriculum for another Christian institute, integrating weekly readings, journaling, and mentoring to equip young adults for life in Christian community. Her project offers both deep compassion and practical wisdom for creating spaces where no one is left on the margins.
