How to Do a Colonial Knot // National Embroidery Month With DMC x Gulush Threads // 20 of 25

In this video, I demonstrate how to do a Colonial Knot (an easier knot for those struggling with the French Knot) to create the fluffy clouds of our pattern!

National Embroidery Month happens every year throughout the month of February as a way to celebrate embroidery in all of its many forms!

Since 2016, I've been hosting a daily stitch along in partnership with DMC to help bring together stitchers from all over the world, at any skill level. This year's pattern was absolutely perfect for beginners (as well as experienced stitchers) and, thanks to Youtube, can now be accessible for anyone!
