3 lbs Taro Root (Malanga de coco)
Ingredients for the Pork Filling (Guiso):
3 x 10 lbs picnic pork (pernil)
Achiote oil
Sofrito
Tomato paste
Olives
Adobo seasoning
Roasted red peppers
Garbanzo beans
Bay leaves
Boiled pernil water (to cover the meat in the stew)
