Admittedly one of B.B. King's most well-known and best-loved songs (I guess he must've played it in every concert ever since he recorded it in the first place), but I think this is a particularly interesting version of it. Not because of the audience's reaction to one of the funniest of King's lyrics, but because of B.B.'s guitar playing.
As is notable throughout the whole of "Live In Japan" (1971), he plays some otherwise rarely heard licks and rather unusual runs and going places he didn't go too often, which makes the album (in general) and this track (in particular) a real treat. And of course this is the song with probably the best humourous punchline in blues EVER: "I gave you seven children - and now you wanna give 'em back!" Can't be beat . . . enjoy!
