Chase Maurer and his restored Alfa Romeo GTV6 is a family project with his brothers and father. Originally bought as a parts car off of Bring a trailer, the men soon realized there were a few after market race parts on it. After a few hours of trying to breath life into the parts car they finally heard a spark and struck gold. Restoring it to its former glory and using 70s racer Dany Snobeck as an influence the Marlboro wrapped, Penske lettered Alfa Romeo is now killing it in the vintage race circuit. We were able to catch up with Chase and his team at Gridlife South in Atlanta Georgia at Road Atlanta Speedway. They are currently running the Romeo in the Vintage Circuit but couldn't resist the fun of Gridlife. After their time in the vintage circuit they will be rebuilding the engine that currently has 100 horse power.
Transaxle in the rear like a corvette and a front coil over from a 67 Camaro, this Italian car is more American than one might think!
