Bulletboys Hard As A Rock Drum Cover Trey B

My dude Derrick (@derrickmitchell6331) has requested this #hairmetal tune for a WHILE. No problem.I won't go so far as to call this #glammetal but.......that's debatable. #Bulletboys "Hard As A Rock" off their first album. I just straight up forgot I covered it SIX MONTHS ago and tonight, I was about to pour my drink and come up with a cover for next week and saw this file - whoops.

I was a product of that era that saw the late hair metal push as things went into a more raw direction. Strangely I play more of the late 80s stuff now but I went away from it relatively fast when I was younger This album remains a hidden gem for me and I still dig it. This video more than likely won't command views so I'm hoping some of y'all are that late 80's sleaze / hair metal crowd & it's a welcome addition to the channel in some way. I thought this album was more along the lines of Van Halen (esque) as opposed to trend chasing in its truest form (aka TRIXTER UGGGHHHHHH). No ballads, some swing on some tunes like Shoot The Preacher Down, that EVH style approach on some grooves but obviously not nearly as sophisticated as VH. I remain a fan of Jimmy D'Anda. Have shared 3 or maybe 4 bills with him and wish we'd talked but no go. He did his thing and best I remember, I did mine. I can't ever speak for the other drummers but I keep to myself and rarely ask questions (certainly don't ask for pictures or anything like that). I'm not there to report on the headliner's set. In situations like that, I'm hired by the opening band and my job is to worry about their set and to help them go over as well as they can. Hence why I keep to myself.

I will end this by saying at my age..........the title of this song is much more difficult. I was 13 or 14 when I heard this so to be "Hard As A Rock" in the sense that they are referring to did not require BLUECHEW. And while this isn't sponsored, if BLUECHEW sees this and WANTS to do something, I'm game because in order for me to be Hard As A Rock, I kinda need their little blue pills.
