TEARDOWN | TEEVOLUTION Terra Pro

Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of TEARDOWN! Today, we'll be tearing down the Teevolution Terra Pro. Now, the Terra is unique as it uses a split PCB design, where not only are the side buttons on their own separate PCB, but the main clicks and scroll wheel are too. While we've seen other brands use this PCB design, often times, other brands make the ribbon cables that connect these daughter PCBs extremely short, so servicing or repairing those mice is very difficult. However, Teevolution smartly made the Terra's ribbon cables very long. So, unlike other split PCB mice, the Terra is not only very easy to service, but it's also very easy to repair or mod. Additionally, yet another advantage of the Terra's split PCB design is that if a component fails, such as the main clicks, you'll only have to replace the daughter board, not the whole PCB as you'd have to on other mice. So, in today's episode of TEARDOWN, I'll guide you all on how to fully disassemble and reassemble the Terra, as well as talk about component weights, modding options, and go over what to look out for when servicing the mouse so you don't damage it.
