Bradford Dale, Lathkill Dale and Over Haddon hike ¦ Derbyshire Dales ¦ Youlgreave

Join us in this video for a picturesque hike in the Derbyshire Dales. We start out from the Camping & Caravan Club's Hopping Lane site below Youlgreave, but you could just as easily start at Youlgreave itself or Over Haddon.
The first stretch takes us along part of the lovely Bradford Dale, before we cut up through Youlgreave and head across farmland before dropping down into Lathkill Dale. From here, we head up to have a look around the village of Over Haddon before dropping back down to proceed downstream along stunning Lathkill Dale. After crossing Conksbury Bridge, we proceed along the foortpath to the hamlet of Alport, where we pick up the River Bradford again for the last leg back towards Youlgreave.
A lovely easy walk of around 8.5 miles. There are a couple of stiles to negotiate, and there may be cattle present on the farmland sections.
