SHOREFISHING HAWAI'I: HILO BREAKWALL ✈️🎣😮

Howzit gang, so on this episode the ohana heads over to Hilo on the Big Island of Hawai'i for my nephew's graduation party, so you know what that means---HILO BREAKWALL 🎣!!! We was only there for the weekend so I only had about 4 hours to get the lines wet. Me and my son head out with the gear and of course the "FISHCAMS". We try some floater rig setups as well as some handpole action. I hook up to something pretty good size on the handpole. We met some interesting people on the breakwall including a possible KAREN!-neh neh jus kidding, she was pretty cool but protective of her blessede wall. Also came across some viewers of the show 🫶🏽. But the highlight in this episode is that we got choke fishcam footage! And you know that water is so clean and beautiful and much hungry fish lurking there. I also experiment with FISHBITES---and the results are pretty remarkable. I also get a hookup caught on the fishcam while doing some hold dunking. The fishcam also captures a hungry predator which appears to try take a shot at it 😮. Towards the end of our session, on the very last cast with the fishcam it gets snagged on that sharp lava rock reef---So you know what that means--I throw on the diving gear and jump in with the gopro and gotta get em. Much fun was had with me and my son as he wanted to cool down and jumps in as well.
