Trailer Analysis: ICE PIKMIN ARE HERE & Pikmin 4 Free Update!

Christmas has arrived early! Ice Pikmin are finally here!!!!

It has been a long wait to see the arrival of Ice Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom. They had their big debut in Pikmin 4 in July 2023. Since then the entire Pikmin Bloom community has just been like… “uhh, where are the Ice Pikmin?”

Nintendo and Niantic finally answer our prayers with a HUGE surprise. Not only do we get Ice Pikmin in Bloom, but they are also making Pikmin 4 compatible with Bloom through a free content update. This update will allow you to find 24 different Decor Pikmin in Pikmin 4 and then transfer them over into Pikmin Bloom, with 10 of those Decor being completely brand new! There are other free updates like a photo mode similar to the one available in Pikmin 3, and the highly-requested difficulty mode making the game harder than ever.

Starting November 1st, 6 types of Ice Pikmin will be made available. From the Restaurant set is the Chef Hat Decor. From the Roadside set are the Green, Blue, and Yellow Sticker Decors, the Coin Decor, and brand-new for all 8 types of Pikmin, the Rare Coin Decor!

10/23 Edit: One more Ice Pikmin Decor was announced along with the 4th Anniversary event in Pikmin Bloom: The 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor will be available for Ice Pikmin, bringing the total to 7 unique Decors to collect on Nov 1st!

So get yourself ready on November 1st! Ice Pikmin are coming! And they’re bringing winter with them!
