A new chapter has begun in the Bharatiya Janata Party as Nitin Naveen has been elected as its new National President. The announcement was made at the BJP headquarters in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who himself proposed Nitin Naveen’s name. Around 700 party delegates unanimously endorsed the decision, with the formal declaration and charge-handover scheduled for the evening.
