HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! 🎄
It's been a busy past couple months, but recently another song I wrote in Nashville has come to life and I wanted to share it with y'all!
Just a few weeks ago, I sat down with my friends Kate & Josh from Hasting & Co., artist Lizzie Cates, and our producer Robbie Artress in his studio. We wanted to write a Christmas song for Lizzie, and Kate had had this idea for years but wasn't sure what to do with it... so she brought it to us. She said her idea was "I still believe in Christmas Eve, I still believe in you and me" -- and we ran with it! I loved writing this song - it feels so nostalgic, and it has both wide-eyed hope and sad desperate longing, which I think so many people feel this time of year. Robbie started producing the track that night, and Lizzie released this song just a few days ago! It all happened so fast, but I'm so excited about this song, and proud to have played a part in its creation.
