On National Fisherfolk Day, small fisherfolk from various federations and communities marched to Mendiola, Manila to protest the Supreme Court’s ruling allowing commercial fishing vessels to operate within municipal waters. The mobilization, led by PAMALAKAYA, SAMAMA-AMA, PANGISDA-Pilipinas, and supported by NGOs like the Philippine Movement for Climate Justice, was a powerful display of unity and resistance.
