Catch and cook Red Snapper
We fished on June 4th, 2021 out of Pensacola Florida for opening day of red snapper season on a 2006 Proline 23'. We used live pinfish and croaker for bait. We ran into a school of chicken dolphin/mahi mahi on the way to our first wreck. Loaded the cooler with 10 mahi, enough for tacos, and left the rest of the school in the water to get bigger. We fished one wreck and caught our limit of Red Snapper within 2 hours. Lost half a dozen fish to sharks. All in all was a successful opening day trip.
