Himalaya 3D

Take to the skies and fly with us through the majestic Nepalese Himalayas all the way from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east in native 4K and 60 FPS.

Our flight starts north of Dhaulagiri Himal, Nepals westernmost 8000er. We set off to the east passing Annapurna Himal, Manaslu Himal, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Lapche Himal, Rolwaling Himal, the Khumbu reion, Arun valley and Lumba Sumba Himal before wwe finally reach Kanchenjung, Nepals easternmost 8000er.
On the way we see villages, trekking routes, mountain passes, lakes, rivers, numerous mountains way over 7000 meters and Nepals famouse 8000er mountains: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Cho Oyu, Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga, with most of them labeled by hand. Also shown and labeled is Shishapangma, a 8000er in Tibet.

Originally this was only planned to be a test for my new motion graphics templates, but it turned out quite nicely, so I decided to share it here. Oh, and before you ask, textures in the Manaslu region are currently a hot mess in Google Earth, so I decided to quite literally turn a blind eye to that.
