I was thinking about making a video for this for a long time, and given the comparative success of my 'Qui Gon Jin Funeral Theme' video to most of my soundtrack videos (20,724 for one video to an average of 1,341 for every other soundtrack video I have created), I figured it was worth a shot.
This is the only other moment in the film saga where a Force user is burned at a funeral pyre. Both Jedi Master and Sith Lord share in their funerals a fantastic score by John Williams, who makes terrific use of the force theme to highlight the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, his fall, and ultimate redemption.
Music is credited to John Williams, the edited video to Director Tippy Bushkin and Executive Producer Howard Roffman, and taken from the DVD 'Star Wars - A Musical Journey'. I accept no credit for the music or video shown here.
