The History Channel Prime-Time 2024 Super Saturday Scottsdale Auction (Part 2) is here and full of auction action, originally airing on Saturday, January 27, 2024!

From the moment the gates opened on Super Saturday presented by ‪@GilaRiverResortsCasinos‬, tens of thousands of fans were treated to one of the greatest automotive lifestyle events in the world — and there was no shortage of supercharged thrills and amazing collector vehicles at Barrett-Jackson’s 2024 Scottsdale Auction.

An unparalleled docket of supercars, Resto-Mods, celebrity-owned rides, and coveted sports and muscle cars crossed the world-famous block on Saturday, January 27. Lot 1367, a 1967 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Corvette convertible built by Jeff Hayes, was the first vehicle to reach — and surpass — the million-dollar mark, selling for $1,100,000, setting a new record for a custom Corvette at auction.

The top sale of the day was a 1956 ‪@MercedesBenz‬ 300SL Gullwing coupe (Lot 1406) that went to a new home for $3.41 million. Other million-dollar moments included the sale of a 2018 ‪@bugatti‬ Chiron (Lot 1378) for $2.97 million and the beautiful 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster (Lot 1371.1) from the Don Williams Collection with its $2.42 million sale.

Sales continued to rock in the auction arena, with additional showstoppers joining the million-dollar-plus club: Lot 1381, a 2005 ‪@Porsche‬ Carrera GT selling for $1.87 million; a 2012 ‪@lexus‬ LFA Nürburgring, crossing the block for $1.65 million; Lot 1399, a 2019 ‪@ford‬ GT that sold for $1.375 million; and Lot 1386, a 2017 Ferrari F12 TDF, which crossed the Scottsdale Auction block for $1,347,500.

Super Saturday also attracted some superstars. The “Red Rocker,” ‪@SammyHagar‬, joined Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO ‪@CraigJacksonCollection‬ and President Steve Davis on the auction block to address the arena and share that the sale of his anticipated 2015 ‪@Ferrari‬ LaFerrari was moved to the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction. The Mayor of Muscleville, ‪@GoldbergsGarage‬, also made an appearance on the block for the sale of his pair of ‪@Dodge‬ Demons: a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 (Lot 1401) and 2018 Dodge Demon (Lot 1401.1). Other celebrities in attendance included comedian ‪@theRealAdamFerrara‬, former IndyCar driver Paul Tracy and Peter Miles, the son of legendary racecar driver Ken Miles.
