Position properties: P
Scale properties: S
Selection tool: V
Pan behind tool: Y
Composition settings: Cmd + K... (Windows: Ctrl + K)
Undo: Cmd + Z... (Windows: Ctrl + Z)

✅ VIDEO SUMMARY
There are two position values that you can change in a 2D space; x-axis coordinates and y-axis coordinates. The position of the Anchor Point relative to the composition determines these values. In order to change the position of a layer, simply press "P" on your keyboard (for both Windows and Mac) and change the x and y values to adjust the position. To animate the position, press on the stopwatch and create an initial keyframe. Then move you Current Time Indicator further along and reposition the layer to create a new keyframe. All you then have to do is press Space-bar on your keyboard to preview the animation! You can also quickly align your layer to different parts of the composition by using the Align panel on the right hand side of After Effects.
