Budget Overland Van Build | Episode | We Cut a Hole In the Van for a Wasatch Overland High-Top

In this episode of our budget Ford Econoline E250 overland van build, I finish up my trip to Salt Lake City, UT, and visit Wasatch Overland for a TufPort High-Top conversion.

I made my way through SLC, picked up Rachael at the airport, and hung out with the team at Wasatch Overland for the morning. While the TufPort high-top is the most expensive modification we have made to our van ($6,600 for the extended), it has made the most drastic improvement by far. At 6'3", I can stand in most of my van now and can stop crouching down while moving inside.

The team at Wasatch Overland is unbelievable! We were impressed by the professionalism and craftsmanship they exhibited in such a short amount of time. We arrived at 0800 and were out by 1100! The team is super friendly, and their process is extremely efficient. Wasatch is likely best known for their "high-tops in a day" on Ford Econoline, Chevy Express, and Volkswagen vans. But they also do complete van builds, interior builds, and drawer builds for vans and overland vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the 8 hours to their shop for anything that needs to be done to my van or 4x4s.
