Here we look at examples involving shear stresses in beam with sections possessing two axes of symmetry. In the earlier session examples were given on built up sections. Here examples are given on thin walled members. We discuss stresses in hollow sections with inclined sides. Also maximum stresses are discussed in a circular section with annulus and a triangular section.
