The first Hong Kong Tattoo Convention was held in October this year. A dozen tattoo artists from around the world participated the convention and tattooed for those who crave a cool, lifetime mark on their skin. While the general perception of tattoo in Asia is that tattoo is only for gangsters, this perception is changing. More people appreciate and have tattoos on themselves. Hygiene standard and techniques in local tattoo houses are catching up.
