Hand embroidery on tulle has become one of my favourite things these past few weeks! It's quite different from regular modern embroidery due to the transparent nature of the tulle. As a result you have to also be aware of your stitches on the back of the fabric as much as on the front. Because every stitch you make will show in one way or another.

It has taught me to be even more creative with my stitching process and experiment freer with the thread. For this project I used multicolored floss to add a natural variation to the design.
