BUNGOMA DIOCESE,LAUNCHING THE JUBILEE YEAR 2025 "PILGRIMS OF HOPE" - RT.REV.BISHOP MARK KADIMA .

The Jubilee Year 2025 was officially inaugurated by Pope Francis on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, with the solemn opening of the Holy Door at St. Peter's Basilica, marking the beginning of a year dedicated to renewal, mercy, and grace. In conjunction with this universal celebration, our Bishop Mark Kadima, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Bungoma has today launched the Jubilee Year 2025 at Christ The King Cathedral church Bungoma with a special Mass .

This Jubilee Year, under the theme 'Pilgrims of Hope,' calls us to walk together in faith, hope, and charity, reflecting our diocese vision to be a Christ-centered community, serving one another with love and compassion. Guided by our mission to evangelize, to be formed in the Word of God, and to build a spirit-filled community, this Jubilee is more than a celebration—it is a journey of renewal and transformation.

Through the programs and initiatives planned for this special year, we are invited to actively participate, deepening our faith and strengthening our unity. Let us seize this opportunity to grow as disciples of Christ, journeying together in hope and living out our call to bring God’s love and mercy to all.
