1. A lot of the facts on these elements come from Adrian Dingle's book, _The Elements: A Tour of the Periodic Table_.
2. I also used a few facts from English Wikipedia, the free encyclopædia, mostly for the basic details of the elements. Wikipedia, as the free encyclopædia, is released under Creative Commons.
3. The element flags come from a project on r/Vexillology done by u/persew called "Periodic Table of Flags".

Designs:
The thumbnail design features a green and black square tile background with white, shadowed text. The central square is a lime to yellow gradient and has green, shadowed text. On the left there is the flag of Carbon, created by u/-Jedidude-, and on the right there is the flag of Neon, created by u/DKwiththeJ.
Lithium: Light grey to dark grey gradient background with dark grey text. The element tile is 70% grey to 80% grey in colour with white text. The logo design is taken from Lithium's flag, made by u/aonghas.
Beryllium: Background highly based on the flag, which was made by u/persew. The text for this element is black. The element tile is a circular gradient from yellow on the outside to magenta on the inside and has blue text.
Boron: Directly based on its flag, which was designed by u/RikiOh. It features red text on a black background and the element tile is a red to dark red gradient with black text.
Carbon: Has a black to white background with white shadowed text. The element tile has a 50% grey to 20% grey background with black text.
Nitrogen: Based on its flag yet again, designed by u/-Jedidude-. It has a cyan to hyperlink gradient background with white text, and the element tile has a hyperlink to teal colouration with black text.
Oxygen: I tried to base this one on u/HansLN's design but ended up swapping the colours. Instead of a red background with white text, the background is white and the text is red, and the element tile happens to match the flag with its white text on red.
Fluorine: Directly based on the flag, which was created by u/PeriodicTableFanboy. The background is black and the text is orange, just like the flame on the flag, and the tile is orange with black text.
