ADDITIONAL INFO BELOW
a basic teardown of Honda j30 engine. I didn't provide torque specs because, the engine isn't being rebuilt to confirm proper operation. -however, I will provide some basic numbers for this engine for those needing it, use at your own risk
additional info... when removing the crank main caps, besides the obvious 14mm that is visible in the block, there 14mm bolts retaining the main caps outside the engine block! 4 total bolts for each main cap.
intake plenum 22ftlb
cylinder head 29ft/51ft/72ftlb [3step]
harmonic balancer 47ft + 60degree
connecting rod 14ftlb + 90degree
main cap inside 54ftlbs
main cap outside 36ft lbs
oil pan 9ftlb
oil pump 9ftlbs
