In the book The Origin of Life some of the vexed questions that people sometimes struggle with, are discussed with clear answers, e.g.
When was the earth created, if there are plant and animal fossils that are millions of years old?
Were there other people before Adam and Eve on the earth? What about the images of human beings dating back more than a 100 000 years? You will be amazed what the Bible confirms about this subject. The Bible confirms there were civilisations before Adam and Eve!
FOR INSTANCE:
According to the Bible, Lucifer reigned before mankind on earth. As the result of the fall of Lucifer, and major disasters followed, we read about:
LUCIFER WAS DEGRADED IN FRONT OF KINGS!
Ezekiel 28:17 – “…I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you.”
PEOPLE DIED!
Jeremiah 4:26 – “ I beheld, and indeed there was no man…”
CULTIVATED GARDENS WERE DESTROYED!
Jeremiah 4:26 – “I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness…”
CITIES WERE DEMOLISHED!
Jeremiah 4:26 – “…And all its cities were broken down at the presence of the Lord, by His fierce anger.”
CONTINENTS WERE DESTROYED BY WATER!
Psalm 104: 6 – “You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.”
THE EARTH WAS DESTROYED BY EARTHQUAKES
Psalm 104: 7&8 – “At Your rebuke they fled; at the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. They went up over the mountains; they went down into the valleys, to the place which You founded for them.”
THE EARTH WAS COVERED IN DARKNESS!
Jeremiah 4:23 & 24 – “I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; and the heavens, they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, and all the hills moved back and forth.”
CONCLUSION:

The earth that God created according to Genesis 1: 1 was initially under the dominion of Lucifer (Ezek.28:12 – 15).
After his fall there were devastating disasters and extinctions
(Isaiah 14:1:14; Jeremiah 4). Genesis1: 2 describe the state of the earth, after the fall of Lucifer: “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep…….”
SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCES:
Before Adam and Eve there were human beings who made artwork. For example:
An image of a woman carved out of a piece of mammoth tooth was discovered in Germany. The age is about 35,000 years old. It is known as the Venus of Hohle Fels.
The artwork of another image was found in 1892, near Brassempouy in France. It is known as Venus Brassempouy. It is more or less 25,000 years old.
