Longtime no see fellow Minecrafters! In this episode we do some serious mining, specifically mining gravel and sand. We need to make a good amount of concrete - grey concrete - so we're going to use the eye blossoms (in their closed state) to get ourselves a whole bunch of grey dye. After some rambling by yours truly, we finally build the exterior of our new starter house!
I used Litematica for the first time making this build, and you'll likely notice from the build timelapse. I was having a tough time getting curvatures the way I wanted, so I broke down & built in a creative world. I then brought the schematic into the Mediocre Minecraft world and placed the blocks. I'm hoping I don't have to use this process often, as I do enjoy building in the actual world.
I'm hoping to be back soon, as there's some housekeeping we need to do around the base, and I want to spend some time in the Nether - just enough to find a Nether Fortress, and maybe slay some blazes.
