Help Save the Wood Ants and Restore Our Ecosystems! 🐜🌿
Wood ants (Formica rufa) are a keystone species, playing a vital role in maintaining the balance of our ecosystems. With native populations in decline and now listed as near-threatened on the red list for conservation, we are witnessing drastic changes in landscapes that rely on these incredible ants.
At Ant Antics Ltd, we’re working with Dr. Wendy Harris at Swansea University to raise 40 wood ant colonies and reintroduce them into the wild, where they are needed most. This crucial project will help restore entire ecosystems that depend on the wood ants for survival.
How You Can Help: We need your support to make this project a success. Your donations will directly fund the care and raising of these ants, as well as their release and ongoing support for 12 months in their new habitats. Every contribution makes a difference.

By supporting this project, you’ll be helping to preserve not just the wood ants, but the mosses, birds, and invertebrates that rely on them for survival. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for our ecosystems.
