JOOST CONIJN - art will lead the future
Joost Conijn is an artist who has traveled around the world in homemade vehicles, driving a wooden car through Eastern Europe and flying a plane to Africa. But that's not all. Conijn is more than just an artist and an adventurer; he leads the way by filming the untold stories of people he encounters in places which are not very often visited.
From riding a reclining bicycle through India to building and flying oneís own airplane to making a movie about a journey through Eastern Europe. Conijn has been travelling around the world, trying to find out for himself what is actually going on in remote areas. The vehicles Conijn travels in, he particularly likes to build himself.
