In this video, I break down what went wrong when I bought the MEUS Capra axles for my RC crawler build. While these axles are high quality and extremely well made, they ended up being too wide for this particular setup, which caused fitment and stance issues.
Even though the MEUS Capra axles didn’t work for this build, I still love them and will be using them on a future RC crawler project. Sometimes great parts just don’t match the build you’re working on.
To fix the problem, I purchased and installed the MEUS nylon portal axles, which turned out to be a much better fit and solved the width issue perfectly.
