Part 2 - Mystery Mansion Case #2: Snow Ghost Taxidermy - Adding Fur and Finishing

For our first project, we will be taking the Snow Ghost from the Season 1 episode "That's Snow Ghost!" and turning it into a taxidermy hunting trophy! The idea came from having the awkward triangle part on the ceiling in the attic, and trying to figure out what would look good in that spot. What better than the first in a series of taxidermy heads of various monsters!

In this episode, I will be sculpting (poorly) the head of the Snow Ghost, which we will be covering with fur in the second part and mounting to a wooden plaque. Then he will be ready to take his place as one of the many trophies and memorabilia pieces Shaggy and Scooby would use to decorate their Mystery Mansion.

Now, I am no sculptor, but my patron saint of sculpting, Adam at @NorthoftheBorder is. I tried to apply some of the many things I have learned in watching his videos for the last year or so, and reminding myself that it is good enough to aspire to good enough. I think I did a passable job on this, so maybe next time I can reach the lofty good enough goal. :) If you want to see a real sculptor in action, go watch some of his videos, he is great!

The technique for adding the fur to the sculpture using fur yarn came from the very talented @yubisakichan and her wonderful little animal dolls.
