After another UL80 went flat I decided to chop it up. This is the sixth UL80 sleeping mat that has literally let me down so taking it apart was no big deal.
There is nothing but plastic baffles that run across the width of the mat giving it the ribbed look. No insulation or any reflective material but that was known anyway.
Don’t get me wrong this pad is super comfortable and is perfect for summer use but if it doesn’t stay inflated it’s absolutely no go to anyone.
