4K Doing The Douro Line

I enjoyed Porto a lot. But if you want to get out of the city and see the area where the grapes were grown to make the wine the city's best known for, then the Douro Line to Pocinho (and back) is the best way to do it.
Take a trip on a locomotive (with UK origins) from the 60s and Swiss-built coaches from the 40s along an amazing journey along the UNESCO-recognised Douro River. Aircon wasn't included, but unobstructed views through the windows were! See vineyards cling to the hills, tranquil villages and the odd non-human passenger...
