It’s been said that God’s word is shallow enough for a child to wade in, while at the same time deep enough for the largest animals to swim in. Jesus’ teaching is both wildly simple to understand and profound without limit. No place is that more the case than with his Sermon on the Mount.
Each verse could be a lesson on its own. I pray that God would open the eyes of our hearts (Ephesians 1:8)
