Hi all, after a good few months I decided it was time to head up north and visit one of my favourite airports in the UK. During the peak summer months this year, Manchester Airport now use both Runway 23L and 23R throughout the day, with no closure of 23L until later in the evening. I thought I'd take advantage of this and get some close up action of exciting wide bodies and more. There are two videos from this visit, so look out for the second video which will be up very soon
A relatively cloudy day here anyway, the sun eventually made its way out later in the morning, but for the majority it was cloudy, a good variety of low cost carriers and holiday airlines about too, giving it that good summer feel. Plenty of movements about for a Tuesday morning, lots of action and plenty of heavies here and there too
Movements include Hi Fly A330-300, Thomas Cook A330's, TUI 787's, 767, 757's and 737's, Jet2 737's and 757's, Etihad 777, Easyjet A320's and A319's, Cathay Pacific and Singapore A350's, Aurigny ATR, Ryanair 737's, Sun Air Dornier 328 and many more!
