Since its inception, the Reitnouer aluminum flatbed trailer has been an industry-shaping innovation. At the core of every aluminum flatbed trailer are the two bowed main rails that support the trailer bed. Advent Design developed a custom machine to hydraulically form these main rails, followed by an automated X-Y carriage equipped with drill heads that precisely position and drill mounting holes every four inches along the rail. The CNC-based control system enables easy teaching of new profiles and fully customizable drill patterns, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and flexibility for Reitnouer’s production needs.
